The Crime Lab has been created and designed by husband, wife team Kate & Steve, Ex-Scotland Yard Detectives.
After leaving the police force, the power team created their amazing crime business.

The Crime Lab brings crime to life. From interactive online workshops to immersive real-life crime experiences, team building, private events and more! The sky is the limit with their knowledge and experience.

The team have been working with individuals, companies and schools for the last 15+ years.

Meet Steve.. Ex-Scotland Yard Detective
Born in Central London during the 50's Steve always jokes he would become a villain, or join the police.
Luckily, he chose the police force.
Steve was a senior police officer within the Metropolitan Police for more than 25 years. As a senior detective, he undertook serious criminal investigations (murder and terrorist activities), specialising in drug investigation, money laundering and serious major incidents.
During his time in the police, he completed a degree in Police and Psychology.
After he came out of the Met Steve retrained as a Maths Teacher and also worked in the prison service as Head of Education & Training.
For the past 13 years, Steve has been running immersive Crime Scene events for corporate companies, journalists, production companies and schools.
Born in Manchester and gravitating to London in her early 20’s, Kate joined the Metropolitan Police as she was looking for something interesting and challenging, she certainly found it.

Kate enjoyed lots of different aspects of policing from immigration, domestic violence, child protection and public order. She worked on a large Pan- London project based at Scotland Yard examining the integrity of evidence and investigation. This all culminated in her working within the training branches specialising in Management & Leadership Training, plus curriculum design, development and evaluation.

After she came out of the Met she went into sales.

For the past 13 years, Kate has been running immersive Crime Scene events, team building and leadership experiences for a wide range of companies.
